mid-June as the ice on Lake Kilpisjärvi began to melt quickly. Notice hydrophone cable across the ice. This was a windy afternoon.

Much of this work is from the Kilpisjärvi Biological Research station, north of the Arctic Circle near the 3 country border with Finland, Norway and Sweden. Work was recorded from 2014-2019 and some work edited later.
