A second piece with skiers - March 2015, Lake Kilpisjärvi. Updated 2022. Snow and sleet striking the carbon rods generates harmonics. The metallic sounds are from the piezo disks.

Much of this work is from the Kilpisjärvi Biological Research station, north of the Arctic Circle near the 3 country border with Finland, Norway and Sweden. Work was recorded from 2014-2019 and some work edited later.
