Ice Forming on Lake Tshakhajärvi, Finland

Recorded October 14, 2019 w/ hydrophone, piezo disk attached to carbon fiber rod and microphone. Two days later, this area was frozen solid. This lake is near Mt. Saana in Kilpisjärvi.

Much of this work is from the Kilpisjärvi Biological Research station, north of the Arctic Circle near the 3 country border with Finland, Norway and Sweden. Work was recorded from 2014-2019 and some work edited later.
