Tea Time Arts Series : A Conversation with Maine Painter Nathaniel Meyer January 22, 2026
Merrill Memorial Library’s inaugural program in the Spring 2026 Tea Time Arts series. Nathaniel Meyer, a landscape painter based in the Greater Portland area will be discussing and showing off his poetic and psychologically rich work. His paintings draw inspiration from the rocky coast of Maine and are shaped by nostalgia, ecological awareness, and contemporary digital aesthetics. He has exhibited widely, with recent solo presentations at the Spring/Break Art Show in New York and Los Angeles, and multiple exhibitions with Elizabeth Moss Gallery in Portland and Falmouth, Maine. Nathaniel holds an MFA from Lesley University College of Art & Design and a BFA from Boston University. He lives and works in Cumberland, Maine.
