The Commission approved a special exception use to establish a private school within the Immanuel Fellowship Church at 6015 West H Avenue as the Civitas Classical Academy. In the second public hearing Friendship Animal Hospital was approved for special use and site planning to construct a veterinary clinic on the 2 acre vacant corner lot at 6476 Valley Industrial Drive. Finally the Commission approved the tentative preliminary plan for phase 3 of Westport Village Site Condominiums to be divided into an additional phase. The development will ultimately have 17 units. The Oshtemo Township Planning Commission meeting for June 13 has been canceled but the Commission invites the community to a Comprehensive Plan Visioning Session at the Township Hall during the meeting time from 6 to 8. Community members and leaders will create a vision for the future of Oshtemo so here is a great opportunity to get involved.
