OHS 2015 : Jia Yun Chinese Dance Troupe - 2015

Jia Yun is founded by a group of amateur dancers who are passionate about learning Chinese folk and classical dance. Their mission is to promote Chinese culture through dance. They practice every Saturday and have performed at various major events such as the First Night celebration in Boston and Chinatown festivals. They have also competed in Chinese dance competition, most recently receiving a first place award at the New England Chinese Dance competition. Their teacher is the famous Chinese dancer and choreographer Mia Tsai. Recorded May 16, 2015, at MATV’s 9th annual Open House Showcase.
