The Board reviewed an update from Southwest Michigan First and the work plan for 2024. Approved a proclamation recognizing February as Black History Month and agreed to use the Eastern Equine Encephalitis Grant to hire an Environmental Health Intern. The Board approved the Police Protection Agreement with Brady Township to provide additional patrol hours. Appointed community members to the Opioid Settlement Fund Task Force including Susan Davis - mental health provider, Nicole Storteboom - prevention provider, Maureen Ford - treatment center provider, Brenda Henry - community organization provider, and Dominick Gladstone, April Anders, and Leroy Gray as individuals with lived experience.
