The Fitchburg School Committee and Conservation Commission held meetings this week. The School Committee honored student artists in Dog License Poster Contest. They also discussed the school calendar and voted to extend Superintendent Thompson’s contract.

The Conservation Commission reviewed projects that could affect wetlands and discussed plans to demolish the former Dunkin Donuts building on John Fitch Highway for possible future road improvements.
