The Whalers welcome the Sandwich Blue Knights from the Upper Cape in the season opener for both teams. These two squads have a split 8-8 record in the modern history of the two programs; the Whalers swept the last two regular season games in 2022-23, capped off by an opening playoff round win by Nantucket at home on Nov. 1, 2023, as seen right here on the NSC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfiADIPFBes While these teams missed each other in the regular season last year, the Blue Knights won in straight sets in their postseason revenge match on Nov. 3, 2024, with Sandwich ranked #14 in Division 4 vs. Nantucket's #19 rank entering the tournament.
