Artists in Conversation | American Roulette | The Art Galleries at ACC
The Art Galleries at ACC (TAG) hosted a virtual event in June 2025 in which members of the American Roulette artist collective discussed the current exhibition on view at ACC Highland Gallery 4000: Navigating gun culture in our violent society. Exhibition artists and TAG representatives, Yousif Del Valle, Michelle Graves, Peter Bonfitto, Olivia Spiers, and Dominic Sansone, led the discussion. The artist collective, American Roulette, seeks to open dialogue and foster discussions related to mass shootings and gun violence in the United States. Through exhibitions, the collective engages with communities by inviting local artists to submit artwork to be included in every exhibition. The selection of the works is juried by gallery curators and the American Roulette Collective. This exhibition is on view February 25 – June 26, 2025 in Gallery 4000 (HLC 4.2105) on ACC Highland Campus and is free and open to ACC faculty, staff, and students as well as the public. The Art Galleries at Austin Community College and the ACC Art Department showcase different faculty members working in the art world and teaching students at ACC. Additionally, this features student and faculty work from various semesters.
