Austin Public Library’s favorite monster, Van, speaks with Jarrett & Jerome Pumphrey, about their start in art, writing, and creating books. Jerome discusses his work with Disney and how he found the inspiration for The Old Truck, a work that they collaborated on. Jarrett talks about his journey rebuilding his own old truck and they both discuss how they create illustrations as a team. They also talk about their new graphic novel, Link + Hud which was inspired by their own childhood experiences.
