Cemetery historian and author Ron Romano will guide us through Eastern Cemetery’s rich history of over 350 years.

We’ll peek inside the City Tomb, see the segregation of Portland’s minorities, and learn about some of both the famous and the ordinary citizens whose life journeys ended at the ancient burying ground. From murders and bank robbers to Quakers and war heroes, there are endless stories to be told. Books will be available for sale.
