Needham Channel coverage of the Needham School Committee meeting held in the Broadmeadow Elementary School on October 20, 2026.

The Needham School Committee met on October 20th. Discussion items of note include the presentation and following discussion on the results of the 2026 MCAS Testing, as well as, the Student Advisory to the School Committee Update. There was also a Draft School Committee Policy for the Protect Act and an Update to the Pollard Middle School Project which was that it passed at Special Town Meeting on the previous night. Committee Members also voted unanimously to approve the MOA between the School Committee and the Needham Education Association regarding the Unit E Contract for Fiscal Year 2027 through 2029, the Fiscal Year 2028 through 2032 Capital Improvement Plan Requests, and the Superintendent’s Performance goals for the 2026 through 2027 school year.
