There was a lot to discuss at the Select Board meeting on Tuesday evening, as a number of high-profile topics set the tone for the fall ahead. From the Pollard override to facing the fiscal challenges of the upcoming fiscal year, money and making the most of it was front and center. Not far behind were conversations on tree and wetland bylaws, that sought to balance quality of life, property rights, and environmental necessity. There was talk of the board's goals for the year, and high praise for the town manager, as she closes out her first year in the role.
