Needham Channel coverage of the Needham School Committee meeting which was held at Broadmeadow School on June 16, 2026.

The Needham School Committee met on June 16th for their last meeting of the 2025-2026 school year. There were several items on the agenda. Most Notably, The Pollard Middle School Project Team has completed the Schematic Design Phase and they presented the finished design to School Committee Members. Members also voted to approve the design, allowing it go forward to the School Building Committee for their approval so it can be submitted to the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) by June 25th of this year. The meeting agenda also included the Superintendent’s 2025-2026 Summative Perfomance Evaluation and a Committee vote to approve it. Committee Members had other action items including voting to approve the 2026-2027 Strategic Action Steps, the FY-29 Yellow Bus Transportation Contract, the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for Non-Contracted and Non-Unionized Contracted Employees, and the Superintendent's Merit Award. At the beginning of their meeting, they also honored the Needham High School’s Girls Ruby Team who recieved the MIAA’s Sportsmanship Award.
