Needham Channel coverage of the first session of the 2026 Needham Annual Town Meeting, which took place on May 4th at Powers Hall in Needham Town Hall.

It's back! The town gathered on Monday night to start the annual tradition of working through the major projects in town, and authorizing the funding that allows them to take place. In this first session, roughly half of the articles were passed, with the majority being included on the consent agenda, bypassing discussion. One article that did raise questions proposed funds for consulting fees to help the Planning Board accomplish their 2026-7 objectives. Tune in to get the scoop!
