From The Frame Question 5 Full Interviews Question 5 on the 2024 ballot in Massachusetts asks voters if they want to approve a raise to the minimum wage for tipped workers in the state. If approved, employers would raise the wage from the current mark of $6.75 an hour up to the general minimum wage—currently $15 an hour—over the course of five years. We spoke with Chris Keohan—No on 5’s spokesperson and general consultant—as well as One Fair Wage’s worker organizer in Massachusetts and Yes on 5 proponent Grace McGovern to learn more about each platform.
