Ashby is one of just six towns in Massachusetts selected to host Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition exploring the evolution of civic life in the United States.

The opening event featured remarks from local leaders and showcased the town’s own history alongside national stories of voting, representation, and civic engagement.
