Nearly eight years after the mysterious death of Fitchburg native and U.S. Marine Ronald “Ronny” Valentin, his mother Gloria Ortiz continues fighting for answers while making sure her son is remembered for how he lived.

The second annual Ronny’s Voice Memorial Basketball Tournament brought players, families and community members together at Parkhill Park for an afternoon of basketball, remembrance and a growing legacy in Ronny’s name.
