Fitchburg's annual Civic Days celebration returned for another year, bringing thousands of residents and visitors together for a week of community events, live entertainment, fireworks, and one of Central Massachusetts' largest Fourth of July parades.

The community spirit has made Civic Days a local tradition since 1960; and the festivities this year included the Nashua River Brewers Festival, the Civic Days Block Party, the Independence Day Parade, the WooSox Town Takeover and the annual Amazing Duck Race, as the city hosts another successful Independence Day celebration.
