Fitchburg officials shared updates on major construction projects happening across the city, including four bridge repairs and upgrades to water, sewer, and gas systems.

Much of the work will focus on Main Street and continue through 2027. While some disruptions are expected, the city says most businesses will remain accessible. Officials also highlighted that the improvements will replace aging infrastructure and improve water quality, safety, and long-term reliability.
