It was a busy night at Fitchburg City Hall on Tuesday, January 20th, with city and school leaders meeting across multiple boards.

A joint meeting between City Councilors and School Committee members resulted in the appointment of two new representatives to the Monty Tech School Committee. Later, the City Council approved board appointments, accepted police department grants supporting community policing and domestic violence advocacy, and debated rule changes to avoid Open Meeting Law violations.
