Show DescriptionDiscussion and possible vote to approve a town-wide yard sale permit Belmont Public Library Director Peter Struzziero presented the proposal for a new townwide yard sale program to be held annually. On Saturday, Sept. 23, the first annual town sale will be held. Participants will hold the yard sale in their on yards. A map will be provided for people to locate where the yards sales are. The Recreation Department will have a sign-in sheet on their website. It will cost $15 for participants which would cover expenses.

Show DescriptionDiscussion on Memorandum of Agreement on temporary use of Everett C. Benton Library by Belmont Public Library for children's room while library is under construction. Residents against the memorandum expressed concern about parking and traffic. Mark Paolillo also expressed concern about it, questioning if programming could be cut back. The library will hold a public meeting to get feedback and input from neighbors before the Aug. 7th Select Board meeting. The Select Board will take a vote some time in August.
