Yestermorrow Spring '26 Speaker Series: Community Preservation Projects with Ben Doyle 4-1-26 Preserving a community’s historic buildings is a way to preserve its future. The Preservation Trust of Vermont is a nonprofit organization that, for nearly 50 years, has helped Vermonters save the historically and culturally significant buildings they love — whether that’s a general store, a jewel-box theater, or a humble barn. We do this work through technical assistance, grant funding, and steady encouragement. This presentation will provide an overview of our work and highlight some of the key considerations when undertaking community-based historic preservation projects.
