The Joy of Songwriting is a monthly show from producer Zac Markey. Every episode, we dive into the world of songwriting! In the series pilot, we write a pop-punk song using just a few instruments and a Tascam 4-track cassette tape recorder. Inspired by the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. Producer Zac Markey, has a BA in Journalism/Media Production and over 15 years of experience in broadcast television as an editor for the award winning Arizona Highways TV, and has written, recorded and performed music for over 25 years. He was born in Barrington, NH and currently resides amongst the cacti and creosote of the western Phoenix-metro valley with his fiance and an undisclosed number of cats.
