Joined Marine Corps in 1942. 13th 5th Battalion in Cuba and then 3rd Corps Artillery in Guadalcanal for the Okinawa invasion.

Joined the US Marine Corps in 1941. Uncle Major General William S Fellows told him to Join the Marines. Became part of the 5th Marine Division and went to Iwo Jima.

Joined US Airforce Febuary 1942, went to pilot training in 1943. In 1945 was put on a B29 crew and flew 22 mission.

Joined Army Air Corp 1934 and the integrated into the Air Force.

Technical Seargent Radio Officer and Gunner on a B17 Bomber.

Drafted into the US Amry July 1941 as part of the 34th Engineers.

Volunteered for the Marine Corps in 1943. Joined 3rd Marine Division going into Guam. Then went on to serve in Iwo Jima.

joined Marine Corps in 1942. Became part of 22nd Marine Band.
