ACC’s Summit of Future Makers Conference: Opening Plenary from Dr. Monique Reeves

ACC’s Office for the Future hosted the first-of-its-kind Summit of Future Makers, a bold exploration of innovative technology and philosophies for community colleges to break out of old technology and processes so they can become more agile and forward thinking. In her opening plenary, Dr. Monique Reeves, Austin Community College’s Executive Vice Chancellor and Futurist, challenges community colleges to focus on creative disruption of their systems and approaches, to treat inclusion as a driver of innovation, and to embrace creative disruption by eliminating outdated, fragmented systems with new processes that better serve students.
