Routine items for the Select Board's approval. Select Board members may request items be removed for full discussion by the Board.
The Goffstown Select Board is conducting this Public Hearing to accept public input on the adoption of three (3) proposed ordinances. Camping on Public Property Ordinance of the Town of Goffstown, NH Proposed Ordinance regulating and restricting any person from using or causing to be used any of the streets, sidewalks, square, parks, rail trail, public trails, or any other town-owned public place as a camping place absent prior written permission from the Goffstown Select Board or its designee. Fires and Cooking on Town Property Ordinance Proposed Ordinance regulating and restricting any person from starting, igniting, kindling, cooking with any fire, cooking fire, or deep-pit barbecue on any property owned or operated by the town absent prior written permission from the Goffstown Select Board or its designee. Campers and Recreational Vehicles on Public Property Ordinance Proposed Ordinance regulating and restricting any person from occupying, storing, or parking and remaining in any camper or recreational vehicle on any town-owned public property, public street, or public right of way, except on public streets where and when parking is otherwise permitted. This is the second of two (2) required public hearings. The Select Board is scheduled to vote on these proposed ordinances on 10/19/26.
