Train Photography with Doug Scott

Wednesday, January 21st at Cumberland Central Fire Station and via Zoom.

Doug Scott lived on Cape Cod for 48 years before moving to Bluffton, SC almost five years ago. He has been a member of the Mass Bay RRE since 1980 and has contributed many images to the CALL BOY newsletter. Doug’s description of his program: In my time since I started riding and photographing trains in Fall 1977, I have ridden trains in all 50 states [including some 470 RR Club Memorial Day weekend adventures] plus Japan and most of Canada. More recently, I have been attending photo charters in various parts of the US. What I plan to show at the January Meeting is a program that I call 'STEAM x 3.' I will cover photo charters on The Nevada Northern, Sugar Express and Western Maryland Scenic Railroads. Although there will be some diesel power images, the majority will be of steam. My presentations are PowerPoint Multi-Media, meaning that my images will be set to music with time for Q&A after each segment and at the end.
