Nēnē: The Voice of the Land is a short documentary exploring Hawaiʻi’s native nēnē goose and ongoing efforts to protect its habitat. The film was written, directed, and produced by Hōʻike intern Kaylee Lee.

After completing our Producer Certification one-day class, Amy Benson created this imaginative and expressive short film as her final project—showcasing her creativity and newly developed production skills.
