30 Years of Needham-Wellesley Football on TNC
Mike Levin and Chris Dugan host a look back on the last three decades of Needham Channel coverage of the Oldest Public High School Football Rivalry in the Country: Needham vs. Wellesley. Although the rivalry dates back to 1882, the "Broadcast TV Era" of the last 30 years has seen some memorable and exciting moments, documented in this special. Mike and Chris spoke with former Rockets Head Coach Roy Johan, who is now assistant, as well as current Head Coach Dave Duffy, who played for Needham prior to the Broadcast Era and was also an assistant on Coach Johan's staff. Wellesley Media Sports Director Greg Story also gives the Raider point of view, not to mention some inside information on how our joint broadcasts are produced every Thanksgiving. The program closes with TNC Alum and current Boston Sports Radio Personality Mike "Sarge" Riley on his Turkey Day memories.
