Needham Channel coverage of the Needham Planning Board meeting held on October 20, 2026.

It was an evening of intense discussion for the Needham Planning Board. Their evening began with an exploration of a math tutoring business who is looking to move to the former candle shop in town center. That was followed by continuing deliberation on the proposed Chabad on Central Avenue, where they sought the advise of Town Counsel on what the parameters are for change now that the public hearing for the center has been closed. They also followed up on their success at Monday's Town Meeting by setting the stage for more by-law changes addressing the construction of Large Houses. Overall, there was a lot to get into at this Tuesday meeting!
