The Board’s agenda for their November 12 meeting covered a wide range of topics, including a Keno application, potential locations for a dog park, the Nicotine Free Generation policy, and the recruitment process for a new Town Manager. Due to concerns about appearing to endorse gambling, the board denied the Keno application submitted by Conrad’s, a new restaurant on Highland Avenue. Additionally, the board consulted with Town Counsel on the timeline and procedures for a possible referendum on Town Meeting’s decision regarding the MBTA Communities law rezoning strategies.
