A special meeting brought together several boards and committees to discuss the potential closure of Claxton Field this spring.

Held on February 15th at Powers Hall, the Needham Select Board met with representatives of the DPW, Health Department, Finance Committee, Park and Recreation Committee, Community Preservation Act Committee and others to discuss the alternatives for Claxton Field as they navigate contamination issues surrounding its history as a dump burn site.
