Pawlet Geothermal Energy Groundbreaking Ceremony, recorded on September 18, 2026.

The geothermal system will utilize a series of 400ft deep, 6” diameter boreholes adjacent to the Library. Wells will be connected to each building’s mechanical room with buried pipes. New mechanical equipment with minimal maintenance needs will be installed, like geothermal (water-to-water) heat pumps and a geothermal flow center.
