Workshop Item: Amendments to Chapter 701, Article II.DD, to revise the section on affordable housing programs to incorporate the state law mandated building height incentive, Requested by the Yarmouth Department of Planning & Development.

NEW BUSINESS: Workshop Item: Amendments to Chapter 701, Article II.DD, to revise the section on affordable housing programs to incorporate the state law mandated building height incentive, Requested by the Yarmouth Department of Planning & Development. The Yarmouth Department of Planning & Development proposes amendments to Chapter 701, Article II.DD, Affordable Housing Programs, to achieve compliance with the requirements of state law that mandate a building height incentive for Affordable Housing Developments, as defined in state law and Chapter 701, and to apply the same incentive to the voluntary affordable housing incentive program. Public comment will be received.

The Yarmouth Department of Planning & Development proposes amendments to various sections of Chapter 701, Chapter 702, Chapter 703, and Chapter 601 to incorporate the requirements of state law on Accessory Dwelling Units. The amendments propose revisions to the definition, the standards, and the permitting process for accessory dwelling units. Public comment will be received.
