Action Item: Major Site Plan and Shoreland Zoning Permit, Cousins River Marsh
Estuary, Map 13 Lots 2, 15, 16, 21, and 37-3, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Applicant.
The applicant is requesting a Site Plan review and a Shoreland Zoning Permit for the
restoration of several parcels of salt marsh, at a cumulative 99 acres, on the Cousins River
Marsh and in Pratts Brook, as shown. Activities will include ditch remediation, runnel
construction or adaptive management actions to support restoration goals. Access is
through the Town of Yarmouth Transfer Station and property owned by Maine Coast
Heritage Trust at the corner of Granite Street and Old County Road. A vote may be taken
after public comment is received.
