Death Valley was formed over 200,000 years. In 2024, I recorded video in slow motion and then slowed the audio gathered by hydrophone. The last ephemeral lake in DV was in 2011 These are very rare and may be a result of climate change ©2025 BMI

I first recorded at DV in 1994. After multiple cancers in 2002-03, I began to record audio/video there in each of the 12 months. DV Cycle is a series of 4 installation pieces-one plays 31 excerpts randomly. Ephemeral Lake will be my last at DV.
