South St., and Portage St. In addition, Commissioners considered funding for a Youth Mobility Pass program that helps high school students in the City of Kalamazoo with Metro bus fare for educational events and other transportation needs in the community. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to public comments, with multiple citizens expressing concerns about the homeless crisis, housing affordability, and the need for city action. The commission also discussed the approval of a professional services agreement for water well installations, and the release of a draft consolidated plan for public comment.
