The Committee works through a meeting on the go process to highlight needs and expectations for Imagine Kalamazoo 2035 planning. The exploratory discussion surveys committee members on the current state of community affairs and the strategy for building our future. The Committee also considers proposing bird-safe building policies to the city commission but shared concerns about moving forward without more impact from builders and building owners that might be impacted. As the Chair of the Committee’s term draws to a close the position will likely be filled by Vice-Chair David Benac who was not in attendance - no other members expressed interest in assuming the role.
