Just before their final meeting at the current location the Road Commission took a brief tour of the new facility. After considering a Title 6 Complaint concerning racial targeting the Commissioners found no probable cause to proceed in a 4-1 vote. Plaintiff, Marcus Irvine attended via zoom and contributed with comments. The Commission approved road contracts for 9 municipalities including Comstock, Cooper, Kalamazoo, Oshtemo, Pavillion, Ross, Schoolcraft, and Texas Townships. The contracts designate a variety of local roads for continued maintenance and service. The Commission’s next meeting will be Tuesday, March 12 from the new location - the community is invited for an Open House Thursday, March 21 from 4-7.
