This is an introduction to a multi part documentary that is focused on showing a more positive and uplifting aspect of African-American men in America. I am highlighting, thriving, successful, intellectual and brilliant, black men who have overcome all odds. These men are from our own hometown of Kalamazoo Michigan! This documentary was produced as a part of the Fall 2023 Cohort of Media Shift Producers.
