The board once conceptualized clearing the area for an archery range, but persistent problems and potential liabilities have put that idea aside. Other parks were also discussed, including the pickleball courts and the possibility of using the Winky softball complex for archery. The board concluded that further consideration is needed, and no immediate action will be taken to develop the old football field property.
