Mayor Charlie Sisitsky has hired Brian E. Turbitt as Framingham’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Turbitt formally started the job on Thursday, April 23, as he now officially leads the local Administration and Finance Division as Framingham’s top executive on financial matters. He takes over for Jennifer Pratt, who left the job at the end of 2025. He most recently served as the town of Nantucket’s Director of Municipal Finance and Chief Procurement Officer. That experience is part of a municipal finance background that stretches almost 20 years. Turbitt sat down with The Frame to discuss his new role, his experience, and the budget situation that Framingham currently faces.
