Recently, a vigil was held outside of the Memorial Building to honor and remember those who lost their lives to overdoses. As September marks Recovery Awareness Month, we sat down with State Representative Kate Donaghue and the Director of Anchored in Recovery Bridget Nicholson for a look at what steps are being taken locally and at the state level to combat the opioid crisis, as well as the benefits of harm reduction and the importance of community support.
